The Great Vigil of Easter

The Great Vigil of Easter is when we hold vigil together outdoors around a fire, remembering the stories of salvation that we have inherited, celebrating our baptism, and remembering those who have gone on before us in death. Then, out of that darkness, we head inside the church celebrate, together, the moment of Easter––of Jesus’ resurrection to Life. Afterwards, we’ll celebrate with drinks and snacks in the parish hall. This service is long, but honestly, is spectacular, and not for the faint of heart :)
